Bahia Chileno in Cabo San Lucas

Bahia Chileno is considered by many to be the premiere beach in Cabo San Lucas. Some argue that it is even the top beach along the entire Riviera Maya. The fact is that it is indisputably among the best beaches in this part of Mexico, offering long stretches of white sand and calm surf that will suit the tastes of even the most discriminating world traveler. It is located right in the middle of what is known as the Tourist Corridor in Cabo San Lucas, granting visitors easy access to the wide range of restaurants, bars, clubs, markets, and boutiques. There are also public facilities (this is one of the only public beaches in Cabo that offers public bathrooms) and plenty of vendors from which you can purchase everything from souvenirs and trinkets to fresh seafood, hot snacks, and cold drinks.

Chileno Beach Cabo San Lucas is also the best spot for water sports and activities in this portion of Los Cabos. Kayaking, diving, and snorkeling are just a few of the things to do at this expansive beach. The one thing you will definitely want to plan for in terms of gear and equipment for these kinds of activities is that there is no dive shop at the beach, so you will want to rent anything you may need in Cabo San Lucas.

Swimming is very safe at Bahia Chileno and guards patrol the beach during daytime hours. One end of the beach is pure white sand stretching as far as the reef, while the other end features awesome rock formations and more reefs that are perfect for diving and snorkeling. This beach is not far to find, as it is just off of the highway and well marked. There is plenty of public parking.
